First batch of tone rings recently cast

Copper & Tin

Recently cast at a foundry in Ayshire, Scotland our new Patent bell bronze tone rings are made from our own mixture of copper & tin to produce a mellow tone. Onlike the newer type archtop tone rings produced in Europe and USA (which are of quality) we decided that we preferred a richer purer tone, a sound found in the Epiphone banjos of the 20’s. To achieve this we use a blend of pure copper and tin.
